Carpobrotus Edulis

Carpobrotus Edulis, commonly called Hottentot Fig, is a spreading succulent groundcover with fleshy, curved leaves and vivid daisy-like flowers. Blooming from spring to autumn, its purple-pink flowers add a burst of color to gardens and landscapes.

This drought-resistant plant is excellent for erosion control, coastal gardens, and as a colorful groundcover in xeriscapes. It also produces edible fig-like fruit, adding to its unique appeal.
